Emily Sue passed away at the tender age of 4 from a terrible genetic disorder called Sandhoff disease. There is promising research in progress, a CURE is within reach! In a gene therapy project that the Cure Tay-Sachs Foundation supports, they have been able to CURE mice affected with Sandhoff disease! We are holding a fundraiser in honor of Emily on May 30th (it would have been her 5th birthday).
